At Cape Pillars we are geared to put the needs of our visitors first. Therefore, we are at all times committed to the comfort, privacy and safety of our guests.

Apart from our standard B&B and self catering services, full lunch, dinner and refreshments are also available on request and can be served in the main dining room or outside on the patio to enjoy the fresh air.

All guests have full access to the private gardens and swimming pool. The guesthouse library is well stocked with a wide range of books and DVD's for those lazier days.

Outside the Cape Pillars comfort, Tygervalley shopping centre is just around the corner and nine wine farms are all less than ten minutes away. A short drive to the Mother City offers a multitude of cultural and culinary delights. All the details of the local attractions are available at reception. A shuttling service is available to conveniently transport you and we will even arrange car hire on your behalf.

	Abseiling Table Mountain For an adrenlin rush and a view as never before try your hand at abseiling down Table Mountain. Trips and tours vary with various operators and can be from 1 hour to half day tours which include a hop around Cape Town to take in the hotspots.

	Bellville Velodrome The Bellville Velodrome is on of Cape Town's most popular venues for big concerts and sporting events.
	Cape Peninsula National Park One of the most spectacular drives in the world. From Cape Town around the Peninsula along the False Bay coastline via Cape Point and back along the Atlantic coast via Hout Bay, Clifton's famous beaches and Sea Point.

	Castle of Good Hope The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest building in South Africa and was build between 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company who ruled at the time. Guided tours are offered daily or take a self guided tour through the buildings. Opening Times: 09H00 - 16H00
	Company's Garden Situated at the very top of Adderley Street in Cape Town City Centre, the Company's Garden was originally established to provide fresh fruit and vegetable for the seamen sailing from Holland to Indonesia. The beautiful Garden is home to several landmark buildings including Parliament, SA Museum, SA National Gallery, Slave Lodge, St George's Cathedral, the Jewish Museum and the university of Cape Town's City Campus.

	Jewish Museum Situated in the "Museum Mile" in central Cape Town, the South African Jewish Museum offers visitors a truly unique experience with its bold architectural design, interactive multi-media displays and engaging accounts of South African Jewish history. The SA Jewish Museum commands two views. One section borders the National Gallery and Company’s Garden – arguably the most interesting urban square mile in the country. 	Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch was established in 1913 to promote, conserve and display the extraordinarily rich and diverse flora of southern Africa, and was the first botanic garden in the world to be devoted to a country's indigenous flora. 	Penguins @ Boulders Beach Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat. An entrance fee is payable, please click on the link above to see current rates. This allows access to the beach in addition to walkways and viewpoints.
